Last year, Megan Reilly released her first new record in six years. It’s titled The Well, and it’s flat out wonderful. Originally from Memphis, Megan has lived in both New York City and Philadelphia before settling in suburban New Jersey. Of course none of that tell you about Megan’s music. Call it rock with a psychedelic tinge and Megan’s ethereal vocals. I’m not 100% sure what configuration Megan is playing in tonight, but she almost always plays with a band made up of top notch area musicians: James Mastro on guitar, Tony Maimone on bass and Steve Goulding on drums. Megan’s show is an early one, so if you can’t or don’t want to stay out late, this is the show for you.
